Samuel Dawn returns to Jones Melling

We are pleased to welcome back talented Samuel Dawn to Jones Melling as a senior building surveyor.

Samuel initially joined Jones Melling in 2016 where he worked for two years in the Preston office. After a spell working in Manchester, he is re-joining the building surveying team.

Samuel’s main area of expertise includes residential and commercial building surveying, valuation, defect analysis and remedy, as well as preparing pre-acquisition surveys, condition surveys and historic building surveys.

He also has experience in a wider range of building surveying services including employer’s agent services, feasibility studies, reinstatement cost assessments and working on expert witness cases.

As well as carrying out building surveying services for our clients, Samuel will work in collaboration with the other teams on key client projects.

Gary Melling, director at Jones Melling and head of the building surveying team said: “It’s great to have Samuel back. He brings to the team valuable insight from other areas of the construction industry and from businesses working in our sector.

“Our philosophy is that if we have a happy team, we’ll have happy clients, so it’s about putting our staff at the centre of everything we do. This includes encouraging talented people like Samuel who have explored other areas of the profession to bring back their experience to our firm.”

Samuel added: “I am delighted to return to Jones Melling. The firm has a great reputation in our sector. I look forward to catching up with clients and getting back in the driving seat working on some exciting new projects.”
