Project details
Following on from the acquisition of the development by our client, we were instructed to review the phasing and delivery of the project. There were certain planning and listed building consent issues that needed to be addressed in order to facilitate the required phasing of the project.
Our role was to act as project manager and coordinate the various consultants, in the first instance to review the ‘at odds’ planning and listed building consent. This required a pragmatic approach with the local authority.
The apartment building, which was a former nightclub/wedding venue, had also suffered from weather damage and was subject to an insurance claim which we also had to manage, to enable the apartment scheme to be completed.
The development was procured in phases to suit the development programme and sales delivery for the client, this enabled a better use of their financial facility and helped to deliver a scheme of appropriate quality.
