Jones Melling was appointment by Topps Tiles to carry out a pre-acquisition survey and measured survey of commercial units located in Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle it was potentially planning to lease and turn into trade counters.

The reports included detailed condition, remedial works required and associated budget costs as well as statutory advice for each of the units.

A measured survey for floor plans was also undertaken.

As a result of the detailed surveys, Topps Tiles progressed with the lease of two of the units but did not progress with one other unit due to the condition found at the property and the excessive costs of remedial works required.
